The US is famous for its many national parks. One of these is the Sequoia National Park in California on the West Coast.
Sequoia National Park is well-known for its huge sequoia trees, including the General Sherman tree, which is the largest on the Earth by volume. In addition to its vast forest of sequoia trees, the national park also includes stunning views of mountains. In fact, Mount Whitney, the highest mountain in the contiguous US (not including Alaskan mountains), is on the border of Sequoia National Park. Mount Whitney is part of the Sierra Nevada, a mountain range in California, and has an elevation of 14,505 feet (approximately 4,421 meters).
I was able to visit Sequoia National Park in November of 2020. Below are a few pictures I took while I was there!
