Burger

American culture has evolved throughout its history. During its evolution, it grew more diverse after multiple waves of immigration. The inflow of foreigners were from all over the world and each diverse group brought their own cultural heritage to influence American culture. For example, beer was popular with the Germans who popularized it in America when many of their people fled the political and social troubles in Central Europe. Due to the diversity of the American people, the cultural cuisine is adopted to the tastes of all these various groups. Perhaps the most popular of American foods is the burger.

The burger could be classified as a sandwich, as its ingredients are contained within two bread buns. What makes the burger so unique is that there is not one way to prepare it. There are many types of vegetables, meats, and sauces that can make up a burger. They are also not all required to make a burger. A typical cheeseburger could have cheddar, lettuce, beef, and tomatoes with ketchup. But you could also put in pickles, mayonnaise, onions, and many other foods or sauces. American businesses can get very creative with how they make their burgers. You may see a burger with bacon at Burger King or a fish burger at McDonald’s. It is the variety of ways to make a burger that makes it so appealing to the tastes of various people. It may be the reason why McDonald’s is one of the largest multinational corporations in the world. This makes the burger one of America’s most renowned cultural foods.
