The U.S. is well known for filmmaking. It is the country where Hollywood and Universal Studios are located after all. American film companies have created many stories for everyone around the world to enjoy. One of the most beloved movie franchises are the series of movies that continue the story one after the other. Marvel is a great example of this. The studio has brought comic book heroes to life in a compelling universe that connects all of them together. Each movie developed the background of a certain character with some movies bringing many different characters together. The Marvel movies eventually culminated into some of the greatest movie successes in history including Infinity War and Endgame.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a sci-fi universe revolving around Earth. The first movie that started this adventure was Iron-Man. The film was a great success that set the basis for the rest of the Marvel movies. The first films followed the background and history of each individual hero or smaller team. These films had things in common like side-characters appearing across different movies and little easter eggs connecting to previous films. The first Avengers film brought some of these heroes together to challenge a greater threat to the planet. What followed was more movies introducing new characters or building upon old ones. The second and third Avenger movies developed the challenges the team faced as well as conflicts within. Infinity War was an ambitious attempt to bring characters across many films together to face a universal threat. Not only was the film renowned for managing many character arcs in one sitting, but it also showed the audience a compelling villain who acted like a hero from another perspective. The film also subverted expectations by having the heroes lose at the end. Endgame was the film that gave the heroes their redemption resulting in a climatic end.

All the Marvel movies were organized into phases. Currently, the Marvel movies being released are part of Phase 4. Throughout the 20th century, superhero comic books fell in and out of popularity over the years. Recently, however, the film adaptations have dominated the film industry and created a massive fanbase. Marvel Studios created a world with infinite stories to tell and worlds to explore. The universe created is larger than many other popular franchises and offers something to everyone.
